So I had a pretty awesome weekend filled with some interesting kicks! The family excluding my father went to Pocatello to visit my sister and watch the football game Friday night. This was Kaili’s first long trip and Kristan was a little nervous. Stu forgot his camera so Kristan and I went to get it and my grandpa was going to meet us half way so we wouldn’t be late which it took him 20 minutes to get to the Pipe yard so it was kind of point less! Kristan & I rocked out to TI & Brittney Spears and Kaili sang along J When we finally got to Pocatello we were trying to find the restaurant that we were meeting at and all my brother told us was that it was at “that one Italian restaurant” Well I kind of took the wrong exit so Kristan & I explored downtown Pocatello then we finally found it. 
After dinner we went to the football game because it was the first time Jerome has been to state since the back to back Championships in 1985 & 1986!! The place was packed with orange shirts and screaming fans. The first half was a pretty good game and then the second half the Tigers kind of fell apart. The final box score was Hillcrest 55 Jerome 35. Everyone was sad but we all still BELIEVED! The road was packed leaving as we were just trying to get to our hotel! Kaili however did not like the hotel. She decided to wake up at 3am and didn’t want to go back to sleep. We all decided it was because ‘grandma’ turned off the 42” Pure Plasma TV and we all sleep with it on.
Saturday morning my sister and niece came to the hotel to see us before we started our journey to Idaho Falls to see the other grandparents and the AXE MMA fights. Lynnette stayed in Pocatello to spend some time with them and Kris, Kristan, Kaili & myself hit the road. There is an Indian reservation half way there that has some slot machines and bingo that I was going to stop at so my brother and I could go in but Kristan is only 17 so she wouldn’t have been able to go in! Don’t worry I reinsured her that I would leave the car running so her & Kaili wouldn’t get to cold and my brother and I would only be a couple hours…Just Kidding My brother and I may be mean but we aren’t that mean!!
When we finally reach Idaho Falls we went to our grandpa’s house and took our grandpa out to lunch at a pizza joint. I thought it would be pretty After lunch we went back to the house and watched Land Before Time and waited for everyone to get off work so we could all go to dinner before the fights. Once everyone got their they all took their sweet time to get ready and we were in a hurry. We ate at this Hamburger joint and we ended up having to leave a little early so that we would be able to make it to the fights. The parking lot at Skyline High School was f-ing packed!! Once we got inside we were excited. The fights were really fun except when we got to the main events! My friend Brandon was going for a title and I was very nervous for him. The guy he was fighting against was a little bigger and got him in a deep head lock and Brandon ended up tapping out
We were headed back to the house and these little boys were trying to get our attention and my brother pulled a funny on them and pulled his pants down and stuck him bum out the window. The look on their face was priceless! When we finally made it home we were going to go to bed but we couldn’t sleep…we blamed it on not having 42” of Plasma Love! Sunday we got up and Grandpa made breakfast and we hit the road! Kris & Kristan took my car so they could come back early which was pointless. They ended up taking a 45 minute detour and got lost! Lynnette & I stopped in Pocatello filled up with gas and grabbed a bite to eat and headed home!
